Rewards
Class Dojo
You will receive a letter asking you to join Class Dojo. This is a wonderful online tool that allows us to communicate daily with reminders and photos. You will be able to see what your child is learning, as he/she is leaning it!

Students will earn points on Class Dojo by turning in homework and showing expected behaviors each day. The points will be redeemed for classroom rewards.

If you have hesitations or questions about Class Dojo, please ask!
Students will hear many words of praise in our classroom. Words are life-changing. The room will be filled with encouragement!
Consequences
​
If a student displays inappropriate behavior, verbal warnings will be given to allow for the opportunity to change the behavior. This is following the "Conscious Discipline" model supported by the district. If the unexpected behavior continues, the student will receive appropriate consequences, such as loss of classroom recess, or another privilege. A note to the parents may be written by a student to notify parents of inappropriate behavior. The parent must sign and have child return the next school day.

At any time necessary, the parent will be contacted directly by me.

Also, a referral to Mrs. Fox may be made at any time, without going through the above steps.
